Brian May is a seasoned professional in the transportation and logistics industry with a wealth of experience and a strong entrepreneurial spirit. His journey began in 1995 when he was hired by an asset-based flatbed and van company in Missoula, MT. Recognizing his talent and expertise, he was headhunted by a local reefer carrier where he worked until 2001.

 

In 2007, Brian embarked on a new venture, selling commodity lumber in international markets. While excelling in his sales role, he also took the initiative to establish a logistics transportation department, overseeing shipments and managing customs paperwork.

Fueling his entrepreneurial drive, Brian founded his own lumber brokering business in the fall of 2007. Building on his success, he established Axiom Logistics LLC in 2008, based in Missoula, MT, which continues to thrive to this day.

In 2016, Brian joined forces with a partner to acquire Linehaul Logistics, Inc, based in Missoula, MT. Under their leadership, the company has experienced significant growth and continues to operate successfully.

 

In July 2020, Brian played a pivotal role as part of a group that acquired Hpt, a hazmat hauler and railcar transload facility located in Pasco, WA. This strategic acquisition further expanded his portfolio and strengthened his presence in the industry.

Looking toward the future, Brian is set to launch Axiom Transport in 2023, a Montana-based trucking company specializing in van and reefer transportation. This new venture will serve as a division of Hpt, showcasing Brian's continuous dedication to innovation and growth.
